Login node

Also known as: manivald, user node, interactive node.

The login node is a single high-performance server intended for interactive work. It can be accessed using 

ssh manivald.hep.kbfi.ee

The following resources are shared on the user node between all users:

  • Memory: 512GB RAM total.
  • Threads: 56 CPU threads total. Each user is limited to use no more than 25% of the CPU

At each login the amount of filecount and disk usage is printed to the terminal.
